TGD03 Sprouted Grain Assessment

This course relates to the assessment of sprouted grain in cereal commodities and the methods used to assess sprouted grain.

TGD04 Operating Standards for Pool Providers

The purpose and objective of this course is to establish base operating standards in the grains industry for Pool Providers offering Pool Products.

TGD05 Static Grain Sampling

This course relates to the static sampling of a truckload of grain, for the purpose of assessment according to grain standards.

TGD06 Grain Certification

Certification is defined as provision of written evidence attesting to the nature of a parcel of grain. This course relates to the certification of any grain commodity.

TGD07 Wheat Blending

This Course applies to the blending of more than one parcel of grain. Blending may be defined as combining grain (varieties or grades) to obtain grain of a particular quality or consistency.

TGD08 - Disputing Classification

Disputes may occur when the deliverer of the grain disputes the classification of the grain tendered for delivery. This TGD reviews the dispute Resolution procedures available.

TGD09 Grain Drying

Grain drying reduces the moisture content of the grain to a level that is appropriate for the intended purpose of the grain. This course covers the principles and methods of drying grain.

TGD10 Truck Cleaning

Refers to the cleaning of the trailer/s of a bulk commodity truck to an adequate standard prior to loading with grain, or a grain related product.

TGD12 Managing Severely Damaged Grain

This course refers to activities that may be undertaken to minimise the risk of occurrence and reduce the impact on grain quality of Severely Damaged grain that may arise through various causes such as Heat Damage, Bin Burn and Storage Mould.

TGD13 Grain Levies

This course refers to the various levies that apply to the Australian grain industry. Levies are deductions that are required to be taken from the total amount paid for grain produced by the grain producer.

TGD14 - Commodity Vendor Declaration

This Course discusses the use of a Commodity Vendor Declaration (CVD) during the grain supply chain.

TGD15 Managing Chemical Violations

This document refers to the actions to be taken when a chemical residue violation is detected. This includes legal requirements for reporting such incidents.

TGD16 Trade Certification

This Course refers to government legislation the grain industry must comply with when assessing grain quality (often called Trade Certification).

TGD18 - Truck Cleaning Post Carriage of Class 2 Product

The release of this course supports the grain industry objective to develop sound and practical procedures to clean grain trucks post the carriage of high risk commodities that contain chemical residues. Eg. Fertiliser

TGD19 - Broker Agent Operating Standards

The objective of this course is to raise awareness and maintain and improve ethical behaviour of Australian Grain Broker and Agent professionals and their conduct.

TGD20 National Residue Survey

This document refers to the participation of the grain industry in the National Residue Survey (NRS).

Australian Grain Industry Code of Practice (AGCP)

The Code of Practice (Code) is a practical guide for all participants in the grain industry to achieve the standards and expectations of domestic and export customer requirements.
